  I bought my first car here, and I can confidently say that I will never buy from a used car dealer ever again. If you are considering buying from here, hear me out.
  
  I bought a nice 2009 VW for $7000 with only 60,000 mi. Initially it had an oil leak, however, he was supposed to fix it before I bought the car. Mind you, New York State Lemon Law requires that the dealer give a 3,000 mi 60 day written warranty to the purchaser. As it was my first purchase, I was unfamiliar with these laws. I was not informed of this 60 day warranty required by law nor given a written warranty, however, he did tell me he'd cover the car for 3 months.
  
  Over the next two months, I had visited him several times for him to fix my car, due to a coil short, timing being off, blown fuel injector, snapped serpentine lines, and my oil and coolant completely running out. At first, he took care of things quickly, however, as things progressed, he had my car for at one point 2 weeks, not responding to my calls, texts, being increasingly vague, refused to bring it to a mechanic I could trust at precision or Matthews. He even let me to drive it around when it was misfiring on all 4 cylinders - which likely caused more problems. He attempted fixing the oil leak and coolant leak alone 5 times, I've probably been in for repairs to various other major issues upwards of 10 times, with potentially a month of the car being out of service in a four month period, and he took no maintenance records and gave me no work orders (both of which he is required to do by law).
  
  So now, 4 months later, I am a college student, in debt, with a lemon in my driveway, that no longer functions, and I cannot afford to fix. I have to wait a ridiculous amount of time to go through with the arbitration process for violation of lemon law.
  
  Get this, when I asked for a refund, he said he would take the car to auction and give me what he got there - what a joke.
  
  Do yourself a favor, don't make the same mistake I did, and go buy from a legit dealer.
